Few things are more royal than a gold-leafed portrait. Though Adele Bloch-Bauer wasn’t royalty, she was wealthy and had famous classical composer friends. She was okay rejecting the status quo, and smoked despite it being unladylike. Her husband loved her so much, he commissioned her portrait gilded in gold. Your fur-baby deserves to be dressed in gold for their portrait, too.
About Gustav Klimt:
Gustav Klimt was a very sexy man. He was known to wear only a long robe and sandals with no undergarments. Ah, the freedom of painting commando. Good ole Gus had many lovers, and fathered 14 children. Naturally, women were his favorite subject to paint.
Just like you and me, Gus loved animals. At one time, Gus had at least eight cats. Here he is with his cat, Katze. How cute!?
